Thanks for uploading Image:Johnlive.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. [edit] Your question
I saw a question you'd asked, about notability. It is a bit of a nebulous concept, but it's also a very important one; obviously we shouldn't have an article about what Joe dropped on his shoe this morning (granted, not all questions of notability are so clear-cut). The relevant guideline in the case you asked about would be found at WP:BIO. Luna Santin 18:01, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 100 Inning Game
I think the article needs some references to external news coverage if it is going to be considered notable. Please look for and add those. Thanks, NawlinWiki 16:30, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:100inningLogo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:100inningLogo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hi. Re: your article, 100 Inning Game, it appears that it is not on your watchlist. Please consider adding it since unwatched pages are vulnerable to vandalism. Thanks! :) —Wknight94 (talk) 10:38, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] welcome!
Hi, and welcome to the Firefly WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Firefly's coverage of topics.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our style guidelines outline some things to include.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every Firefly article in Wikipedia.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow Browncoat, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Keep flyin'plange 01:14, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Are you involved with Into the Black?
I just heard from someone that Joss gave his approval? Is this true? That would make a big difference on putting it on the main Firefly page. But regardless, we should definitely put it on the Browncoat page... --plange 01:48, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- I am not directly involved, no, but I have been following the project since January, and yes, Joss Whedon gave his direct approval using Whedonesque.com, his blog site. I will find the permalink to the entry that is somewhere in the message board of ITB. Additionally, Nathon Fillian not only voiced his support for ITB, but also gave some of his own money to help finance the project. -- Ubergenius 16:26, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- If you can dig up that link on Whedonesque, that would be great. --plange 16:31, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Quincy Grays
A tag has been placed on Quincy Grays, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article is a repost of either already posted material, or of material that was previously deleted in a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Quincy Grays is different from all other articles, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Quincy Grays saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we ask you to follow these instructions. Calton | Talk 11:38, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
