U.S. Route 50 Alternate (Nevada)

U.S. Route 50 Alternate or US 50A is an east-west United States Highway in Nevada. It diverges from US 50 at Silver Springs to run north to Fernley and then southwest to join back to its parent route at Fallon.

- When the road US 50 was routed along Nevada State Route 119 (Berney Road) and US 95 through Fallon.
- US 50A was defined to run along US 93A between the US 93/93A split at Lages/Goshute Lake; Interstate 80/US 40 east across the Great Salt Desert in Utah, through Salt Lake City, south along Interstate 15/US 91 to meet U.S. 50 south of Provo. Utah discontinued certain overlapping sections in 1972.
