U.S. Route 29 is a major north-south route in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It travels 248 miles from the Key Bridge in Washington, D.C. to the North Carolina state line at the city of Danville. US 29 roughly bisects Virginia into eastern and western halves. For much of its length, US 29 in Virginia is known as the Seminole Trail.
