U.S. Route 187

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

U.S. Highway 187 is a "daughter route" of U.S. Highway 87, and was originally a spur of former U.S. Highway 87W. In 1934, U.S. 87W was replaced by U.S. Highway 287, and U.S. 187 became a spur of U.S. 287. U.S. 187 ran from junction U.S. 287 near Jackson Lake, Wyoming in Grand Teton National Park to junction U.S. Highway 30 at Rock Springs, Wyoming. It was one of the original U.S. routes in 1926, but it became part of U.S. Highway 191 in 1982.
