U.S. Route 164
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
U.S. Highway 164 (now decommissioned) was a spur of U.S. Highway 64 in the Texas panhandle.
A second U.S. 164 existed from about 1964 to 1970, but did not actually intersect U.S. Highway 64. It was built to provide convenient access to the four corners monument between Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. It ran from Cortez, Colorado to junction U.S. Highway 89 near Tuba City, Arizona. In 1970, this route was entirely replaced by U.S. Highway 160.
