I moved most (almost all) of the section dealing with US 71 and I-49 to the Interstate 49 page. Most of the information didn't deal directly with US 71, instead it dealt with I-540, Missouri 249, etc. Rt66lt 22:05, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Moved to U.S. Route 71
I have moved this to U.S. Route 71, as that is the name used by AASHTO, the Federal government, and many states. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. Highways#Useful resource - AASHTO reports 1989-present. If there are no complaints about this or the other three I have moved in a day or so, I will move the rest. --SPUI (talk - don't use sorted stub templates!) 03:21, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] US 71 in Texas
The information on US 71 in Texas is incorrect. Both northbound and southbound lanes are in Texas from a point north of Texarkana to a point just south of the Red River, where the highway reenters Arkansas.
