Talk:U.S. Route 422
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Disambiguation is required. This article does not describe the only US 422. US 422 in Eastern PA has a western terminus in Harrisburg. However, another US 422 begins north of Pittsburgh and continues into Ohio through Youngstown, Warren and ultimately becomes a major thoroughfare in Cuyahoga County (serving the eastern suburban office market of Cleveland and terminating Southeast of Downtown Cleveland.
[edit] Western US 422
I added the western section of US 422 to the page. --myselfalso 14:50, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The "Missing" Section
It appears there is no "missing" section. Rather, US 22 has two spurs both named US 422. One spur represents the western section. The other spur represents the eastern section. The two are connected via US 22 like so: >-<. Since the western portion was signed 422 first, the sequence of the article has been modified accordingly. Also, the sequence of each section now reflects a starting point from each respective spur off of US 22, then heading to the other terminus. (In the case of the western section, the spur occurs in Ebensburg heading to Cleveland. In the case of the eastern section, the spur occurs in Hershey heading to Philadelphia.) 66.94.67.2
