U.N. Wars

In the science fiction anime series The Super Dimension Fortress Macross and Macross Zero, the U.N. Wars are a fictional series of wars that takes place between 2000 and 2008. After the crash of an alien space ship in 1999, Humankind learns of dangerous extraterrestrial threats, and most of Earth's nations unify under a new U.N. Government. There were some factions who dispute the formation of a world government, and several conflicts erupt throughout the planet and in space.
