U-Fax

U-Fax is a fax server software system for Unix servers, produced by Beacon Computer Services, in the U.K. It is subject to a proprietary licence.

The software include APIs to facilitate embedding faxing functionality in other server applications.

Client interfaces include e-mail, virtual printers, and special bundled client software. The client software is available in versions for Unix/Linux (running under X), and Windows; it allows the sending and receiving and management of faxes, and administration of user settings including coverpages.

The company also produces Fax2Send, for smaller Linux and Solaris installations.
