The Type 2 Ke-To was an improvement on the existing Type 98 Ke-Ni, which itself was built to replace the aging Type 95 Ha-Go. It had a newer Model 1 37mm gun on it, all-welded construction, and a cylindrical turret. 29 models were produced in 1944.
