[edit] Slacking off at rating articles

This article is waiting to be rated but somehow somebody is asleep at the wheel since the articles that I wrote dont get a grade imedeatley. Storm05 20:02, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

I rated it as stub, though it's not far from start. Todo: More impact, longer intro, fix typos throughout the article, grammar fixes, longer storm history, and a pic for the infobox. Hurricanehink 23:47, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
I doubt we can find more impact on this storm becuase I went through google and found the same info after same info the only thing we can do is mention the strength of the storm and the storm history is as good as it gets so theres no need to expand storm history also I added the pic for the infobox. Storm05 15:55, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Sorry to say it, but unless much more information can be found for the impact, then this should get merged. Hurricanehink 16:35, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Uh, this storm is infinitely more notable than Zeta or Epsilon or Vince, but those articles don't have *any* impact section. — jdorje (talk) 06:03, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
You're comparing apples to oranges. Those articles, which IMO should all stay and we should bring back CrazyC83's articles, are naturally more notable (not necessarily than this) for being part of the record breaking 2005 season. Also, one more time, storm's don't have to have an impact section to be notable. I consider a year-crossing storm or a European landfall very notable. Hurricanehink 11:44, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
That's my point exactly; I'm trying to compare meteorlogical notability here. Zeta is meteorologically slightly notable for being an off-season storm and year-crosser. Zeb is meteorologically extraordinarily notable for being one of the strongest storms ever to be recorded. — jdorje (talk) 21:46, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
My point was they were notable in the Atlantic. Because this is in the West Pacific, there's not a lot of enough information. That's why I think it could possibly be merged. Storm05 said himself that there's little information available. I would be fine with it creation, but there's not a lot of content here, and there's plenty of room for whatever's here in the season article. That said, this storm is very notable, and the main reason why I mentioned merging was in the hope that someone would add some more content. Hurricanehink 21:57, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
But you're still talking about the impact section. Yet Zeta has no impact section, yet is judged notable enough on meteorological grounds to have its own article. Zeta also could easily fit inside the storms-list article. Or are you talking about the Storm history section? While I agree that section should be longer, I doubt that making it so will be difficult. And it's still almost as long as Zeta's storm history. — jdorje (talk) 22:34, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
True, but, again, the only reason why I mentioned the possibility of merging was so more would be added to the impact section. 22:42, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Todo

Needs more impact. --Coredesat 10:03, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
