Tyler Hudson is a fictional character on the television show, Matlock, portrayed by Kene Holliday. He worked as a private investigator for Ben Matlock for three years.

Tyler Hudson is a private investigator who often went undercover or on stakeouts for Ben Matlock during his cases. He has gone undercover as a private (The Court Martial), a bellhop (The Angel), and many other disguises.

Before working for Matlock, Tyler was in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant (The Court Martial). He partook in cooking and investing in venture capital projects on the side, such as in pecans (The Angel). He entered the Junior Chamber of Commerce Chili Cook-Off, in which he won $2,000 for his chili. It was a Victoria Edwards recipe, chili with chicken, with a peanut butter sauce, and a few secret ingredients (The Chef). Tyler rarely missed Victoria Edward's TV cooking show.
