Tyee Sports Council

The Tyee Sports Council was formed in 1982 to support and aid the growth of all sports at the University of Washington. The Council consists of approximately 35 members. The Council sponsors a number of events throughout the year in support of University of Washington Athletics. It consists of approximately 40 members.[1] The Council gives out the Tyee Sports Council Service Award to a student athlete. Past winners in the award include Marlon Shelton,[2] son of former NBA player Lonnie Shelton, and Zane Potter.[3]
