give me a break, please. I am working on a whole series of articles related to Tolkien scholarship. A few hours after I created this stub, it was noted as "of doubtful notability". More material will follow, and this journal plays a role in the posthumous publication of Tolkien's works. This is not an article about some internet troll club, but about a serious publication of scientific value. dab 06:37, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Do we really have to list all of the individual issues? I'm not sure that adds anything (other than lines and lines of repetitive text) to the article that couldn't be accomplished equally well with a summary. (Is there a list of articles on the website that we could point out?) [[User:Aranel|Aranel ("Sarah")]] 21:06, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I copied these from the "Table of Contents" I am linking to. My intention is to provide a framework, in case that at some later point, references to particular articles can be inserted. Also, no issue has appeared for 3 years, and if the journal dies, the webpage may go with it, and this would then be the only place to link issue numbers with years. Compare the Vinyar Tengwar issues: I had a very hard time to find out the publication dates of issues previous to #36. Also, disk space is cheap ;-) dab 12:06, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I feel exactly the same way about the VT issue list. Perhaps there is some more compact way we could provide this information? Tables? [[User:Aranel|Aranel ("Sarah")]] 14:19, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)
go ahead. I would just like you to not remove the information. You can arrange it in tables, in smaller font, or in special "list" articles, as you prefer. I just like to have this information available because I have spent too much time digging for such things.... dab 14:59, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)

dab writes regarding VT: "I had a very hard time to find out the publication dates of issues previous to #36". Well, one easy way would have been to simply ask its editor. His e-mail address is given right there on the VT web page, and I hear he's notoriously chatty....

Carl

you're right :o) sorry. I daresay this information is undisputed... anyway, I figured them out now, myself. cheers, dab 07:51, 30 Sep 2004 (UTC)
