Ty Votaw (born Feb. 1962) is a lawyer and an executive in the golf industry.
He joined the LPGA as general counsel in 1991 and served as Commissioner from 2004 to 2005. In 2006 he was appointed Executive Vice President, International Affairs of the PGA Tour.
While he was at the LPGA he started a relationship with LPGA Tour golfer Sophie Gustafson and he confirmed upon his departure that "player opinion" on the relationship had played a part in this decision to leave, though he suggested that a desire for a change was his main reason for moving on. The couple were married on June 16, 2006.
