Born, educated and raised in West Texas. My paternal ancestor traces back to 1581 in a foiled expedition in what is present-day Northern New Mexico. He was around 67 years old. My maternal ancestor traces back to 1598, who escaped the Pueblo Revolution of 1680. My mom's root is in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua the exact location where Don Juan de Onate started his expedition to what will be America's first true Thanksgiving in present-day El Paso, Texas. My family & relatives still reside in El Paso/Ciudad Juarez area and of course, Northern New Mexico.
