Twyla Tharp was a dancer and choreographer. She is a hoosier hero as we call her.Did you know she was born in Portland, Indiana but moved with her parents to Southern California when she was still a child??? Well she did!Also her mother tought her to play the piano when Twyla was two! Twyla started dancing lessons when she was four!(she took ballet, tap, jazz, and modern.)Those two ages are very young ages, you think?Twyla was a very active girl and you can find out more information if you go to google and look up Twyla Tharp!
