Wikipedia:Two-million pool

Shortcut: WP:2MP

This was a pool for predicting the date at which the number of articles (as defined by the official article count presented on the Special:statistics) in the English Wikipedia reaches 2,000,000 (two million). The person who comes closest to the actual date is the winner (of eternal fame). The current number of articles in the English Wikipedia is 1,730,213.

This pool was closed for entries when the English Wikipedia article count reached 1,000,000 on March 1, 2006 at 23:09 (UTC) (see Wikipedia:Million pool). So be sure to have placed your guess before then. This pool opened on March 20, 2005, shortly after the 500,000th article was created.

This pool is now closed. Any future entries will be reverted.
