Twofold Bay

Twofold Bay ( [1]) is a bay in the south-east of Australia. It is in the state of New South Wales although it is very close to the border with Victoria. Eden is located in the bay, and Red Point is at the southern end of the bay.
The bay was named by George Bass, for its shape of two bights, when he passed it on his whaleboat voyage to Bass Strait in 1797/8.[2]
It is also famous for the "Killers of Eden", the whales which famously helped a group of whalers for whaling.
