Two shot
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Two Shot is a type of shot employed in the film industry in which the frame encompasses a view of two people (the subjects). The subjects do not have to be next to each other, and there are many common two-shots which have one subject in the foreground and the other subject in the background. Two shots are often used in news reports where reporters appear next to the news reader on the screen. Another example is when phone calls take place in film or TV where two people on the phone in different parts of the world appear next to each other.
