Two Sides to Every Story is the 1977 album release by Gene Clark. This was Clark's first release since the critically acclaimed No Other in 1974. This album had the same fate as the previous one, the quality far surpassed the sales. The standout tracks are the traditional "In the Pines", Clark's own "Kansas City Southern" & "Hear the Wind", and James Talley's tale of a dying coal miner "Give My Love to Marie". The guest musicians on this album are Jeff Baxter, Emmylou Harris, Byron Berline, Al Perkins, and John Hartford.
