Two Rivers Psychiatric Hospital

Two Rivers Psychiatric Hospital is a private, for-profit behavioral health hospital owned by Universal Health Services (of King of Prussia, PA) with a broad range of inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services. Two Rivers Hospital is located in Kansas City, Missouri, United States, and has the following units and/or programs: The National Center for Trauma-Based Disorders, Dual Diagnosis and Addictions, Spectrum Adult Services, the Renaissance Older Adult Program, and a Child and Adolescent Program. The National Center for Trauma-Based Disorders has both trauma stabilization and trauma treatment programs as well as a program for those with trauma and co-occurring eating disorders and addictions. Two Rivers Hospital is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2006- the doors were opened in October 1986. Two Rivers is one of two private, free-standing psychiatric hospitals in the Kansas City area. The other is Research Psychiatric Center, also in Kansas City, Missouri, whom is a member of the HCA Midwest Division family of hospitals.
