Two Idiots and a Baby was the fourth episode of the hit Nickelodeon comedy Drake & Josh. It first aired on February 8th, 2004.
[edit] Plot synopsis
Walter Nichols is up for a promotion at work. He and Audrey are going to dinner with his boss, Mr. Galloway, and his wife. Josh volunteers Drake and himself to babysit the Galloways' baby. Drake is angry that Josh said Drake would help him babysit when Josh knew that Drake's band had a gig that night. Drake agrees to help Josh with the baby until it is time for him to go play with his band.
Drake does this, and when the baby wakes up he helps Josh try and get him to sleep again. Eventually however they decide they need to change the baby's diaper. They run out of diapers after using them all to clean themselves because the baby peed all over them, so they use the kitchen drapes. In the beginning of the episode, Josh is seen to be making a catapult. Megan releases it and leaves the kitchen drapes that they used for a diaper since the actual diapers were ruined, making it look like the baby had flung itself out the window. Unable to get ahold of Drake, Josh leaves a message on his cell phone saying he needs help with the baby. He frantically climbes onto the roof, only to find that the baby is not there. He then accidentally knocks the ladder out from under his feet and is stuck hanging from the gutter. Meanwhile, Drake leaves his gig right before his band is going to perform to come back and help Josh. Drake puts the ladder back up for Josh and goes to find Megan because he thinks that she has the baby. However when Drake goes to find her, Josh accidentally knocks over the ladder and he is left stranded hanging from the gutter once more.
When the parents and the Galloways come back from dinner, they find Josh still hanging from the gutters. He jumps off, flattening Mr. Galloway, and tries fruitlessly to cover. Much to Josh's relief, when they go inside they find Drake and Megan with the baby, singing a lullaby. The parents never find out that Drake had left, and the boys are praised for their babysitting work.
