Twin (mythology)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In virtually all the mythology of the world, the Twin represents some "other" aspect of the Self, a doppelgänger in some way. Often the twin is the "evil twin", or one may be human and one semi-divine.
In myth, the twin may be a brother, or a soul-mate, such as the "civilized" Gilgamesh and the "wild" Enkidu.
