Twelve Step Fandango is Chris Haslam's novel published first in paperback in 2003.
Martin Brock, anti-hero of Chris Haslam's novel 12 Step Fandango, is a character in the same vein as Eric Ambler's Arthur Abdel Simpson. Like Simpson, Brock is a low-down dirty hustler with few friends and serious enemies. Unlike Simpson, Brock manages to be cool, coming across like a wired Johnny Depp as his fragile little cocaine-based lifestyle explodes across the gorgeous, sun-baked Andalusian countryside.
