TV2 Film is an 24 hour film station owned by TV 2. It was launched on November 1, 2005 at 21.00 with the Danish movie The Green Butchers as the premiere.

The channel is somewhat disliked though[citation needed], because it broadcasts movies again and again many times, and it fails to broadcast several newer and popular movies. After the initial premiere with the movie mentioned above, it kept rebroadcasting "The Green Butchers" nearly everyday for a long time. This has also been seen with several other movies, such as "Wayne's World" and currently "A Night at the Roxbury"
