Tvååker

Tvååker is a village in Varberg Municipality, Halland, Sweden. It has a population of about 2 000. The name is a Swedish form of the name it had during Danish times; Toager, which means "clay field".

The village has a lower secondary school, Bosgårdsskolan as well as an upper secondary school, Mungagårdsgymnasiet, which is focused on farming, tourism and handicraft.

The football team, Tvååkers IF was formed in 1920 and has a male team in the 4th league and a joint female team with Galtabäck in the 5th league. An floorball-team, Tvååkers IBK, was formed in 1986 and played in the top league for two seasons in the early 1990s.
