Tutte Lemkow (28 August 191810 November 1991) was a Norwegian actor and dancer, player of many, mostly villainous parts in British television series and films. His greatest claim to mainstream familiarity was his role as The Fiddler in the film version of Fiddler on the Roof. (Tevye was played by Topol in the film).

Tutte Lemkow was born on 28 August 1918 in Oslo, Norway and died on 10 November 1991 in London. He was married to Swedish actress Mai Zetterling from 1944 to 1953. Lemkow and Zetterling have a daughter, Etienne.


He played at least three roles in Doctor Who with William Hartnell's Doctor: Kuiju in Marco Polo (1964), and Ibrahim in The Crusade and Cyclops in The Myth Makers (both 1965).
