Turtles on the Orient Express is episode number 153 of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series. The episode is a part of the Vacation in Europe series from 1992-1993. The Vacation in Europe series take place during season 4 (1990), so the Technodrome is still in Dimension X. This episode of the show was written by Doug Molitor. It aired on November 13, 1993, on CBS. Trains and rail transport are the theme in this episode, and the episode name Turtles on the Orient Express is a word play with Agatha Christies 1933 story Murder on the Orient Express.
April O'Neil and Irma covers the revival of the Orient Express train. The Shredder is also on the with Bebop and Rocksteady carrying a Supercharger, which is a device to accelerate the train to superspeed, sending it out over the Bosphorus, flying and then crashing into the oil fields of the Middle East, destroying them. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) board the train and after a series of fights on the train where both sides are threwn from the train and have to chase the train to jump on the train again, the turtles finally send the Supercharger flying off the train with Shredder.
