Turtle Talk with Crush is an attraction within The Seas with Nemo and Friends pavilion at Epcot, one of four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort. It opened there in November 2004 and later was duplicated at Disney's California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort.
Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Pixar, the attraction consists of an unscripted, real-time conversation between Crush, the laid-back sea turtle from the Disney/Pixar film Finding Nemo, and theme park guests.
[edit] Attraction description
Crush appears on a large rear-projection video screen designed to look like the observation window of an aquarium. A hidden cast member supplies the voice and controls Crush's animation, allowing the character to talk with guests and answer questions. The "animated" character looks and moves much like he does in the movie, complete with facial expressions and subtle gestures. Crush converses freely with guests using quick wit and humor.
