"Turn It into Love" is a single released from singer Kylie Minogue's debut album Kylie. The single was released in December 1988 and was written by Stock Aitken Waterman.
The single was released only in Japan. The song was very successful and reached number one in the Japanese charts.
In Japan, a pop duo named Wink covered this song in Japanese, retitling it "ai ga tomaranai ~Turn it into Love~," which since then has become a cover standard.
The song itself was covered by Hazell Dean and featured on her 1988 album "Always". Hazell Dean's version was significantly different to Kylie's and the production was heavily rearranged to reflect Hazell's earlier disco hits. Despite the popularity of the track on Kylie's album, and the re-invented Hazell Dean already having had two Top 20 hits in 1988, the track peaked at a disappointing Number 21.
