Turmion Kätilöt (Literally ”Midwives of Destruction” or ”Midwives of Perdition”) is a Finnish industrial metal band founded in 2003 by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo. The band has six members: Raaka Pee, Vastapallo, Spellgoth (who is also the lead vocalist of Trollheim's Grott, a Finnish industrial/black metal band), Master Bates, RunQ and DQ. DJ Vastapallo and Raaka Pee actually do the music together, rest of the band play just in liveshows.

The band has a recording contract with Spinefarm Records (specifically Ranka Recordings), and their second full-length album was released on March 29th, 2006.

There have been some mild rumors in the official site guestbook that they might be releasing something new (an EP or perhaps even a full-length album) during the summer or autumn of 2007.

The song "Verta Ja Lihaa" is the background music for "Bunnykill A" flash animation, involving a bunny dueling numerous other bunnies with a sword, originally appearing on www.newgrounds.com Other songs from the band have been used for other animations in the Bunnykill series as well.
