Turkish Airlines Maintenance Center (THY Technic), is the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul center of Turkish Airlines. It is located at Atatürk International Airport (IST), Istanbul.

THY Technic is operating in two hangars at Ataturk International Airport (IST) in a total enclosed area of 130,000 sq-mt with a total workforce of 3,000 employees. Approximately 1,800 of these workforce are technicians and almost 1,300 of these technicians are licensed technicians (LAE - Licensed Aircraft Engineers).

THY Technic is a member of IATP (International Airlines Technical Pool) and ELMO (European Line Maintenance Organization) and has line maintenance stations in 24 Turkish domestic and 30 international airports.

Aircraft maintenance hangars and workshops:

  • Hangar # 1 has a total enclosed area of 51,000 sq-mt and can accommodate 2 widebody (Airbus A310) and 3 narrowbody (Boeing B737-800) aircraft at the same time.
  • Hangar # 2 has a total enclosed area of 80,000 sq-mt and can accommodate 3 widebody (2 ea. Airbus A340 and 1 ea. Airbus A310) and 4 narrowbody (Boeing B737-800) aircraft at the same time.
