Turkey Point is a hangout for the Drapes in the 1990 cult film Cry-Baby. It is located on the seedy side of Baltimore. Allison Vernon-Williams is taken there by a Drape where she gets a makeover and celebrates amongst the Drapes. However, Turkey Point also becomes a riot scene between the Drapes and the Squares, and both Allison and Johnny Depp's character are arrested by the police. Despite the Turkey Point being in Baltimore, it never existed in the Hairspray world where Tracy Turnblad lived out her existence approximately 5 years after the conclusion of the Cry-Baby story.

Turkey Point has a Confederate flag, alcoholic drinks, motorcycles, and juvenile delinquents. Children here do not have proper Christian names and teen pregnancy is often accepted as a fact of life in Turkey Point.
