Turinsk (Russian: Туринск) is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of the Tura River near its confluence with the Yarlynka, 253 km northeast of Yekaterinburg. Population: 19,313 (2002 Census); 23,189 (1989 Census).

It was founded in 1600 as an ostrog in place of the ancient town of Yepanchin, which was raized by Yermak Timofeyevich in 1581.
