Talk:Turning Point

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page was extremely non-standard, per WP:MOSDAB. The basic idea of a disambiguation page is to point to specific articles that a user might be looking for with, in this case, the phrase "Turning Point". Simple definitions and discussions of metaphor don't belong here, nor do pointers to other pages where the phrase does not even appear, e.g., classic mechanics. These definitions can be harvested from the old version and added to Wiktionary, if need be—I added an interwiki link. (I'm still not sure the discrimen entry belongs here.) Also, the descriptions associated with the links are to be relatively short, and not themselves contain links. I did leave a few of the latter in, where the target article does not yet exist. —johndburger 17:03, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge pages?

In agreement with johndberger's comment above, I suggest removal of inadequate definition on this page.

Also, I suggest that rather than have two inferior pages (Turning Point and The Turning Point) the two pages be merged and renamed Turning Point (disambiguation).
