TURing interface

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

TURing interface denotes a proprietary user identification interface developed by Swivel Secure Limited.

An identification number is shown on-screen in a partially obscured non-ASCII format (e.g. an obfuscated GIF) that is not readable by OCR software, screen-grabbers or spybots, but which is readable by a human user. The human user returns the displayed TURing(TM) number, or some function thereof, in order to identify him/herself to a remote server. TURing is a trade mark of Swivel Secure Limited.
