Tuntematon Maa (Finnish for "the unknown land") is Finland's best known^{[citation needed]} internet forum, picture and story gallery, and events calendar about BDSM and kinky culture.

Because of the nature of the site, anonymity is highly respected and members very rarely reveal their first names, and never their surnames. There are various sections in the forums, including discussion about new events, private BDSM sessions, and help for newcomers. Many Finnish BDSM organisations, such as SMFR in Helsinki and Turun Baletti in Turku post announcements about their upcoming events on the forums.
