Tumladen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tumladen is a geographic location in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. In Tolkien's work, Tumladen was the name for the hidden valley within the Encircling Mountains where the Elven city of Gondolin was built during the First Age. Tolkien's The Silmarillion tells how Turgon, a king of the Noldor, discovered Tumladen under the divine guidance of the Vala Ulmo, Lord of the Waters.
