Amtrak serves the Tucson Southern Pacific depot three times a week with the Sunset Limited and Texas Eagle.
The station was built in 1907. In 1998, the City purchased the entire depot property. Restoration of the main depot building and the three adjacent buildings to their 1941 architectural style was completed in 2004. Old Pueblo Trolley plans to extend their historic streetcar line to the Depot by 2009.
The Southern Arizona Transportation Museum is located in the old Records Vault building.
