Tsugaru Tamenobu

Tsugaru Tamenobu (????-1608) a daimyo of northern Japan following the Sengoku Period of the 16th century. Tamenobu was referred to as Oura Tamenobu earlier on in his life. Tamenobu had at one time battled against Nanbu Nobunao. Following this, Tamenobu submitted to Toyotomi Hideyoshi and fought against that of the Hōjō. At this time Tamenobu took the name of Tsugaru. Tamenobu followed in capturing Namioka Castle during the year of 1590. During the Azuchi-Momoyama period of the 17th century, Tamenobu was destined to support the Tokugawa following the Sekigahara Campaign of 1600, in which his revenues increased to 47,000 koku.
