Tsimiroro

Tsimiroro is the name of a large oil field in the onshore Morondava Basin of Madagascar. It is estimated to contain 8 billion barrels heavy oil. The hydrocarbons are found in the Isalo and Amboloando formations. The field is located south of the Bemolanga ultra heavy oil field and south of the town of Morafenobe.
