Tseri (also known as Seri or Xeri) is a village in Cyprus to the south of the Cypriot capital, Nicosia. The region has a population of approximately 12,000 people. Its inhabitants are known as "Tseriotis".
The nearest airport is in the city of Larnaca.
Famous residents include poet Theodosis Pierides (1908–1968) , rally driver Grigoris Nicolaou (MItzis) with EVO VIII (1983-) and bodybuilder Alexis Papanicolaou(Lytsos) .Another famous personality is the great football player, Andreas Zakis El-Sheikh (1982-) (The Egyptian Pele). The current president of the community council of the village is Alkiviadis Konstantinou.
