I'm just letting you know, as a courtesy, that I replaced the picture you took for the Yonkers (Metro-North station) article with one I took more recently that I believe is more effective: we can see an Amtrak train coming in, the platform, a sign telling us we're in Yonkers, the river and some idea of the station's overall context. I also took pictures of the front of the station and the interior as well, since the architecture is discussed in the article.

I hope this doesn't bother you ... I see from your user page that you live in Yonkers, so understandably you may feel like someone's come in and sort of trampled in your backyard. But we should always strive to improve our content, especially when we can replace one free image with another one. If you want, feel free to go up to the platform and improve on mine ... I'd love for it to have had perfect weather, blue skies and a train coming in on the middle tracks. If you find yourself able to take that sort of picture, do it.

In the meantime, since the platform image you took is now orphaned, you may want to request it be deleted. Don't take it personally; I just had the opportunity Thursday and I wanted a better picture for that article. Daniel Case 03:47, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
