Hi, I've been a great reader of Wikipedia for ages and I've just started dipping my toes in the water of editing. I'm primarily responsible for the George Gipps page and I've contributed to a few others (Margaret Mahy, Joanna Lumley and the List of LGBT-related films).
Hopefully I'll become knowlegeable enough to make a few more real contributions!
- Just made a page on the Black Ferns, which is NZ's national women's rugby team. I know bugger-all about rugby (although I do know the offside rule), and even less about the women's game, but I think it's a great omission. Here's hoping someone more knowlegable will fill it in! I resisted the impulse to link to some of the disgustingly sexist comments about women's rugby in the IRB forums. Things are changing, really. I'm sure. (05:25, 2 January 2006 (UTC))
- Hi Trxi, you're right it's a big thing. Best is to start chronological I think, kinda like a timeframe. I still have a lot to learn here it seems. They've deleted my BF pics twice now although I thought I did all the things right. --Womensrugby 15:28, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- Did some major edits of the Gaetan Dugas page, in honour of World AIDS Day yesterday. Talk about a mess. (07:13, 2 December 2006 (UTC))
