Trumpeter (company)

Trumpeter is a Chinese company that manufacturers plastic injection moulding military model kits. Their product line consists of model ships, aircraft, cars and military ground vehicles. Trumpeter kits have a reputation of being somewhat more crude than those of competitors such as Dragon or Tamiya; in recent years, their kits have been the subject of increasingly favourable comparisons with those of other manufacturers^[1][2], however. They also put out inexpensive scale models of popular items that other companies have overlooked, possibly because of the high cost of the molding (process) used for scale models.
