True Religion Brand Jeans is an American clothing line, established in December of 2002 by husband and wife team Jeffrey and Kim Lubell [1]. The Los Angeles based premium denim company has become known for its intense attention to detail, including fashion-forward seams, remarkable embroidery, and innovative hand-sanded vintage washes.

True Religion Brand Jeans come in many washes and styles, including the Joey Big T, Johnnie, Stella, Julie, and Stevie. Most styles are categorized into Big-T or Super-T, which qualifies the styles' thickness: Super-T means the thread is thicker.

True Religion is a popular brand among American celebrities, tying for the #22 spot for 2005 in brand agency Agenda Inc.'s annual ranking of most popularly mentioned brands in American Top 20 music [2]. Most notably, the brand was mentioned in the Black Eyed Peas 2005 hit My Humps.

In 2006, True Religion began a national expansion. They now have boutiques in Los Angeles, New York City and Miami. In 2007 two boutiques will open in Houston and Chicago. The flagship store is located in Manhattan Beach, California.
