True Love is a classic Japanese bishoujo eroge, developed by Software House Parsley, and released by CD Brothers. The game is considered by many bishoujo game fans to be a classic.

True Love differs from most other ero-games in placing more emphasis on gameplay; it could be described as an ero-game dating sim with RPG elements or, probably more precisely, as an RPG with ero-game dating sim elements. The player controls a college student looking for his true love. The goal of the game is to win the girls' hearts before the last summer of freedom is over. Every day when the main character wakes up the player can plan the schedule for morning, afternoon, and evening. The choices (such as pleasure, sports, study, etc.) determine what events will occur during the day (if any), and also raise the character's skills in the selected category. Different girls in the game (there are ten of them) have different interests, goals, and preferences. If the character's skills in the category that the girl finds most important are high enough, he has a chance to score with that girl and become her boyfriend.

It was translated into English and German and published in Europe and the United States by Otaku Publishing Ltd. in 1999.

A sequel had been planned, and is hinted at in the ending of the first game. However, the series was cancelled before it was released. It has been said that there is a demo of this sequel, but what is actually referred to is True Love Select, which is the original game with extra characters.

The game pokes fun at other well-known Japanese exports such as Final Oxymoron VII, a reference to the Final Fantasy series, and the mention of the names "Ayeka","Ryo-ohki" and "Sasami", from the Tenchi Muyo! anime series.
