Trudell

Trudell is a 2005 documentary about the life of American author John Trudell. Produced by Heather Rae it took more than a decade to complete. The movie has received generally mixed reviews from the critics.[1]
The New York Times' Jeanette Catsoulis stated, "As one of our most prominent and passionate advocates for Native American rights, John Trudell deserves more daring and objective scrutiny than this overly reverent trubute."
Los Angeles Times critic Kenneth Turan said of the movie, "By preaching so relentlessly to the choir, this film misses an opportunity to show what got them to sing in the first place."
Erin Meister of the Boston Globe opined, "Despite the rambling finish, however, overall the film is a thought-provoking and graceful portrait of a tenacious peace warrior whose frankness is his greatest weapon."
It has played in select theaters and film festivals.
