Talk:Trump Tower

14:07, 6 July 2006 N328KF actually merged Trump International Hotel and Tower into Trump Tower without a discussion. I personally disagree, but was inspired to reformat the Trump Tower page to show some separation and create this page to get some consensus on the issue. I think people looking at Trump hotel condo pages may care about his other International Hotel and Tower properties, but not his Tower properties. Tony The Tiger 18:11, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Both pages had duplicate info. In addition, the "Trump International Hotel and Tower" series are often referred to as "Trump Tower," certainly here in Chicago, and I'm sure in many other places, too. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 04:48, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
There is a lot of duplicate info. However, the theme of the two property types is different as most Trump fans and investors will tell you. I assure you that not everyone here in Chicago refers to the new building as "Trump Tower." Tony The Tiger 20:46, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
The two aticles should definitely not be merged. 1st of all there are about 12 "Trump International Hotel and Towers". Theres one in NYC, Toronto, Chicago, etc. So all of those artices schould be seperated as well. Secondly, Trump Tower is a completly different set of buildings. There are about 5 of them located throughout the country. However "Trump Tower" in New York City is seperate from all the rest. This is located on 5th Ave and is the main building for the Trump Organiazation. This is the building that the Apprenice took place in, and it is the building that Donald Trump lives in. In my opinion, the articles should be organized as follows:

Due to repeated attempt to convert Trump International Hotel and Tower to a redirect here and better understanding of WP:MOSDAB, I am going to take the section out except for a link. TonyTheTiger 17:24, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
